CLINICAL INTERESTS
Dr Ramani Kone is a general paediatrician who cares for patients from birth through to 18 years old with a broad range of health concerns. She enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary partnership with families, general practitioners, allied health professionals and educators to help children reach their full potential.
In addition to general paediatric issues (feeding, growth, development, continence, asthma, eczema, and sleep), she is also experienced in the care of neonates, neuro developmental and behavioural problems, ADHD, Autism and learning difficulties.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Ramani completed her Paediatric training at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Monash Children’s Hospital and Peninsula Health. During her training, she obtained additional experience in community child health, allergy and conditions involving upper airways.
In addition to her private practice at Melbourne Paediatric Specialists, Ramani also consults at Monash Obstetrics in Clayton. She is accredited to Jessie McPherson and Waverley Private Hospitals, and cares for the neonates admitted to the special care nursery and postnatal ward. She is a member of the Neurobehavioural and Paediatric Society of Australasia (NBPSA).
