Clinical Interests
Peter Simm is a Paediatric Endocrinologist who has experience managing the range of Endocrine disorders in young people. He has a special interest in Bone and Mineral medicine, as well as growth disorders, thyroid dysfunction and maturational delay.
Background and Experience
Peter trained in Paediatric Endocrinology at the Royal Children’s Hospital from 2005 to 2008. He then moved to Children’s Hospital, Westmead, Sydney to undertake postgraduate training in Bone and Mineral Medicine. Since 2010, he has been working in Melbourne as a consultant in the Endocrine departments at both RCH and Monash Children’s.
Peter is involved in a number of clinical research projects exploring bone health issues in young people with a variety of chronic conditions. He continues to publish papers on a variety of topics within Paediatric Endocrinology.
